My 13-year-old daughter started getting migraines in September 2018, we thought to begin with it was all hormonal and it was her body adjusting to the changes of a massive growth spurt and puberty. They continued to get worse until they were every second day. She would see auras and would have very bad visual disturbances.

She was terrified to go to school and dance or anywhere out of our care as she thought we would not be able to get to her quick enough if a migraine was to come on.
